Illustration and design go hand in hand
when Maria takes on an assignment, often incorporating imagery with typography. Her preferred media are linoleum cut, silkscreen and digital; along with photo montage.
Her personal work is influenced by her interests of nature and the environment, as seen in her hand-silkscreened t-shirts created for Rock Creek Clothing, and reusable shopping bags designed for the Audubon Naturalist Society.
